Hook line and sinker...


Storm beginning to show rotation...Dew on the road closing in, Wall cloud spotted...
UPDATE: 5:15pm Dewdrop closed in on wall cloud. Trying to spin up. Hook lost on radar for now and warning has ended. Still waiting to hear from our intrepid young puddle jumper for an update!
UPDATE: 5:21pm No update......Where you at Dewdrop!
Update: 5:43pm Dewdrop breaks off chase. Successful intercept with wall cloud and classic supercell storm. Will be posting pics asap..

Glad you grabbed that hook on radar, it had a great radar presentation for about 5-10 minutes. I hope this line out to the west this evening is all yours!

Just got in from shooting some lightning...Results not good as everything is rain wrapped and in the core. Tons of flashes but nothing to really see on my side. Smitty had better luck on the north side

Mikey: The radar sig was awesome. As soon as the northward moving sea breeze passed by, it quickly spun down. Thats the kinds of storm you want on a high shear day. One all by itself...
